Our bodies continue to drift farther from ideal fitness levels as we age.

We think we can’t reach that level of fitness again because of the constant aches our bodies throw at us.

But the truth is our bodies are capable of extraordinary things, and it’s possible to prevent joint aches and be relieved of it through specific yoga practices.

Yoga is also beneficial in the recovery and prevention of arthritis, frozen shoulders, lumbago (lower back pain), lordosis, injuries,  and ligament tears.

AMI is conducting a Joint Pain Management Workshop where we’ll work our bodies with guided meditations and asanas to strengthen and heal it.

We’ve helped 25,000+ students over 30 years walk towards good health and live a pain-free life. Why don’t you join us too?

AMI Yoga Joint Pain Management Workshop

Why Joint Pain Management Workshop?

We live with the notion that joint pains and ailments become a part of life once we start aging. But they can be prevented and treated through yoga and changes to the lifestyle.

Yoga practices can treat joint pains (knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, etc.) and the ailments associated with it. Here’s how yoga helps you recover from different ailments.

Arthritis: It can affect any joint in our body, and the most common forms of arthritis include knee and hip arthritis.

Some of the common symptoms of arthritis include joint pain and not being able to rotate the joint fully.

Yoga helps reduce pain because the poses are focused on improving muscle strength and flexibility.

When our muscles become strong, they help in the reduction of joint pain because they take some load off the joints.

AMI Yoga Joint Pain Management Workshop

Lumbago and Lordosis: We can treat lumbago (lower back pain) and lordosis by practicing yoga poses that help improve posture and core strength.

Ligament Tear: Yoga poses help the body realign and find a balance so that you won’t feel like your legs are giving away or are moving funny.

If you’re suffering from arthritis, lumbago, lordosis, or had a ligament tear, this workshop will help you hustle like before with ease.

You’ll also feel calm and heal faster with guided meditations and autosuggestions.

Therapeutic Asanas

These simple but potent asanas will stretch certain muscles to improve flexibility and reduce pain and inflammation. We’ll learn at a relaxing pace and make sure that you stretch yourself only as much as you can to avoid pain.

Pranayamas

Pranayamas are breathing exercises that aid healing. They’re practiced along with asanas and involve holding and releasing breaths in a specific sequence. Pranayamas are effective because they raise the oxygen levels in the blood and engage the part of the brain that helps in calming us.

Meditation

We’ll be using meditation to be fully present in the moment and break the pattern of negative thoughts to let go of the pain. We’ll also be using autosuggestions and visualizations to heal our bodies with the power of the subconscious mind.

Diet and Lifestyle advice

Most ailments can be prevented or cured by making changes to our diet and lifestyle. For example, certain foods like turmeric can help reduce inflammation while processed foods increase it. We’ll suggest diet and lifestyle changes to help you prevent/recover from joint pains and ailments like arthritis.

Specially Designed Injury Recovery Practices

Yoga practices can be used to prevent injuries or recover from it. The most common form of injuries are to the lower back, but special therapeutic yoga practices can also be used to recover from knee injuries, frozen shoulders, and ligament tears. The techniques we’ll practice will help muscles in the injured area relax, thereby reducing pain
